KNOW THE RULES BEFORE YOU STEP IN THE CAGE

All athletes, parents, and coaches must follow these rules while training at HitHouse. They exist to keep the cages safe, organized, and focused on player development.

Failure to follow these rules may result in immediate removal from the facility.

Helmet & Bat Safety

  • Batters must wear helmets inside tunnels at all times
  • Only the hitter inside the tunnel may swing a bat
  • Helmets and bats must be provided by the user
  • Balls may be pitched at any time — stay alert

Pitching Machines

  • Only HitHouse staff may adjust pitching machines
  • Do not throw balls back into pitching machines
  • Notify staff immediately if balls are being thrown out of the strike zone

Waiver & Supervision

  • A waiver must be signed before using any equipment
  • Participants 18 or older must sign their own waiver
  • A parent or guardian must sign for minors
  • Anyone under 16 must have adult supervision on site

Behavior & Conduct

  • Misconduct will result in immediate termination of privileges
  • Horseplay or unsafe behavior will not be tolerated
  • This is a family environment — profanity or vulgar behavior is not permitted

Facility Rules

  • No food or drinks in the training areas
  • Only active players are allowed inside the tunnels
  • All balls must be picked up and returned after use

Equipment & Safety

  • Batters must wear appropriate footwear
  • Turf shoes allowed — no cleats
  • Do not enter cages when equipment is running

Participation in batting cage activities involves inherent risks including injury from batted balls, thrown balls, and training equipment. By using the facility, participants acknowledge these risks and agree to follow all posted safety rules and staff instructions.

HITHOUSE FACILITY WAIVER

By entering and using the Hithouse training facility, you acknowledge and accept all risks associated with baseball and softball training activities including batting cages, pitching machines, and strength training equipment.

Participants understand that balls may travel at high speeds and that physical activity carries inherent risks of injury.

All users agree to follow posted facility rules and instructions provided by staff at all times.

Hithouse, its staff, coaches, and owners are not responsible for injuries, accidents, or lost personal belongings occurring during use of the facility.

Parents or legal guardians must sign this waiver on behalf of any participant under the age of 18.
